Summer Snow

This happened a few months back. During a sunny afternoon, a sudden group of clouds turned the sun off for no more than 20 minutes. In these short minutes, small crystal balls fell to the ground, and much like the winter snow, covered up everything.
Their perfect spherical shape amused me. They looked like shiny pearls.
It ended as fast and sudden as it had started. The small drops melted away after a while, leaving nothing but mud behind.
